    CHAOS IN GOTHAM CITY
My creation entitled "Chaos in Gotham City" is inspired by Gotham City, the home of the classical comic character Batman. Gotham City is popularly known as the fictional hub of Batman's adventures. It is known as a metropolis full of crimes, robberies & corruption. Many artists have illustrated it in different ways but still with a common theme – chaotic. My own design focuses on a disordered yet colorful city of Gotham.

I have depicted it with a dark scenery full of high-rise buildings and multi-tiered towers that come in different shapes and layouts. You will also notice the hazy side of the district which epitomizes chaos in the city. Through extensive researches, study and practice, my hard work has resulted in a modern yet still gothic "Gotham City."

    KHEEN DESIGN VERSION 2.0
Kheen Design version 2.0 is my old portfolio site, containing many resource materials for Web Design. My intention for creating such a site is to share with fellow designers who are eager to learn about the craft of Web Design the resources available to myself and the other design studio. This site is also a Web 2.0 design, characterized by its smoothness and simplicity. While most Web 2.0 designs usually utilize light colors as they convey neatness and cleanliness. However, I believe that dark colors tend to establish a certain corporate and professional look, and I decided to incorporate that belief into the design of the site. Most of the contents of the site, the skills and ideas featured, are mostly self taught, using various resources taken from different online materials that helped me develop my skills as a Web Designer.

The site is a personal testament to my love of Web Design, and the ideas borne out of my desire to get past frustration and my eagerness to learn and improve. Though I personally didn't expect it, I am pleasantly surprised by how I have managed to further my own abilities through hard-work, dedication and determination. I have learned that these truly are the keys to success.

    HOW I STARTED?
First of all, I would like to thank my wife Tasha, and my daughter Meg for providing me with strength and inspiration for establishing this website. I came up with the concept of a site that was both eye catching and would be a helpful resource, and after creating a rough sketch of the concept I have formed, I started designing it initially using Adobe Photoshop. Using such an application made designing the site smooth and simple after managing my resources. Once I was satisfied with the layout and the design of the site has reached my satisfaction, I then proceeded to use Macromedia for HTML, CSS, Javascript and simple PHP purposes. Being a self proclaimed Web 2.0 addict, I usually design a layout and convert it to tabless HTML.

This is my first portfolio site. (Right Pic) For me, Web 2.0 is smooth and simple, and it actually inspires me to make a second version (Version 2.0). I have learned from the times that I design a portfolio that I am able to hone and develop my skills as a Web Designer more and more on each occasion.
